I absolutely LOVE Eagle Ridge…such a great variety of photography locations – especially night ones! After their beautiful ceremony we popped down to Rosebud beach before returning to Eagle Ridge for some fun bridal party photos. A great team of wedding suppliers involved in an amazing day!

This was the last wedding I photographed at The Pavillion before it revamped and rebranded as Alatonero!
Such an amazing wedding dress worn by Anita. She looked absolutely stunning.
They both wanted a really relaxed wedding and that’s exactly what they had. It was such a great day!
Celebrant – Felicity Johnson, Hair and Make up – Pink Gloss, Cake – Sweets for Tilly, Florals – Hello Blossom
Views at Cape Schanck provided the perfect venue for Carolyne and Ben’s wedding. They hired the venue for 3 days so that they could spend time celebrating this special time with overseas guests, family and friends…perfect!
Caterer – MoreISH Catering
Celebrant – Emma Osbourne
Sarah and Cory had an amazing wedding at The Baths. It was so sad to see this amazing venue destroyed by fire only a couple of weeks after their wedding, however great that the rebuild will happen fast. The Baths is now taking wedding bookings for 2017!
I will add to this blog post soon, but here’s a couple of pics of their awesome day. More photos are on my facebook page and I will be adding it to my web galleries in the near future.
Mirella and Jacob’s stunning wedding was selected to be featured as a real wedding on Easy Weddings.

I always love photographing weddings at Morning Star Estate. It is a wedding photographers paradise! Mirella got ready at the Royal Hotel in Mornington. Then they had a beautiful ceremony in the sunken garden at Morning Star Estate. We took most of the bridal party photos in the gardens with just a quick stop at a beach in Mt Martha before they joined their guests at their reception. Their reception was at a private property and with a marquee, hay bales, candles and fairy lights looked stunning. Many of their chosen wedding suppliers were also members of the Mornington Peninsula Weddings Group.

We went to a beach in Mornington to do some “first look” photos before Katie and Kaleb officially became husband and wife. They both wanted a relaxed day and didn’t want to leave their guests for an extended time to take their wedding photos – so a first look was perfect. Their home was the perfect setting for their ceremony and reception. They had created a perfect, relaxed atmosphere with lawn games, activities and with caterers keeping everyone fed and happy. I loved catching up with so many people at their wedding who I knew and many whose weddings I had already photographed.

A stunning venue and a stunning bride! Anne and Simon had their wedding ceremony in the chapel at Morning Star Estate. It was a very personal ceremony with two priests (friends from both sides of the families) officiating the proceedings. After having photos around the stunning gardens at Morning Star Estate the bridal party then joined their guests in the Ballroom for a stunning reception with a great band and atmosphere.

This bridal party know how to party and have fun! Belinda looked amazing in her sparkly dress and bright red shoes. We took some “first look” photos at Quest in Frankston and then their ceremony was at Toorak College in Mt Eliza. They celebrated at the Grand Hotel in Frankston where Belinda gave an amazing and hilarious speech!
Katrina and Brad’s wedding was unique, relaxing and alot of fun. They had 30degrees to crazy storms – and everything in between! They had the wedding of their dreams on an amazing private property in Tyabb – complete with dinosaurs, lizards, farm animals, emus, a ned kelly hut, a balinese styled shelter and a water slide that dumps you in the dam! Katrina and Brad had set up lawn games and a photo booth for their guests to enjoy while we walked around the property taking bridal party photos. I am so glad that Katrina and Brad chose me to be their wedding photographer!

Danielle and Zein became husband and wife in the stunning outdoor chapel at Daywaters, Mornington. It was such a hot summers day, so we were thankful for Dalywaters having so many shady trees! Their reception was at the Peninsula Community Centre which had been beautifully decorated and styled by Danielle’s talented sister. It was a beautiful, warm, Mornington Peninsula Wedding!
A massive thank you to Tilly and Ivan for sending me a beautiful thank you card with such kind words…
Ellie and Nick got married at the New Peninsula Church. We then took photos around Mornington before their intimate reception at La Zucchera.
Look at the gallery page to view their web gallery.
Ellie’s make up artist was Simone from Pink Gloss
Eagle Ridge Golf Course is the most amazing venue for nightime wedding photography! A stunning outdoor ceremony location on the Mornington Peninsula with style and charm.
Here’s the link to their Mornington Peninsula Wedding gallery.
Michael and Lisa were so much fun on their wedding day. Michael had surprised his bride and organised superhero ti-shirts for him and the groomsmen. We laughed so much taking the photos! Michael and Lisa had their ceremony at the picturesque Dalywaters Rose Garden and Outdoor Chapel. Their cocktail reception was at the Canadian Bay Hotel (Cb’s) in Mt Eliza.

Michelle had been inspired by Pinterest and her decorations and details were amazing. Bluestone Lane Winery is such a fantastic venue and the staff are always so friendly (and the food is amazing!).
I am so glad that Melinda & Kevin chose me to be their photographer – it was amazing to be taking their wedding photos outside in the middle of a crazy thunderstorm! Most brides would have stayed inside, but Melinda & Kevin were fantastic and trusted me in making the most out of their day!
Their Bumblebee Limo from exotic limos was the best car! Their boys LOVED it and told the guests that “Bumblebee” was outside and had driven them to the wedding – it was very cute!
Felicity Kerr was their celebrant who did a great job changing location plans at the last minute when the rain started coming down! DJ Peter D was their MC and DJ and also organised sparklers for the exit at the end of the evening. It was a great team effort to work together to ensure everything ran smoothly considering the crazy weather!
Britt & Dean live in QLD so they did a great job organising their wedding interstate.
They wanted a fun, relaxed wedding – which is exactly what they achieved
Their bridal party were alot of fun and the reception was fantastic.
Hayley and Justin had a beautiful rustic themed wedding in the Briars Barn in Mt Martha – a hidden little gem on the Mornington Peninsula.
The bride and her bridesmaids made quite an entrance arriving in three unique cars. Their ceremony was under the shade of a beautiful tree and they enjoyed a cocktail reception in the barn.
I always love to see how people decorate the Briars Barn! Rusty barbed wire hearts, candles, fairy lights, flowers in glass jars, hay bales, a blue themed lolly bar and a fun photo booth set up in the corner.
Jessica and Mathew did a great job organising their Mornington Peninsula Wedding from interstate. Their ceremony was at Ashcombe Maze and their reception was at Safety Beach Sailing Club – with Snooks Catering.
I got a great variety of photos and the reception was alot of fun – with alot of funny moments captured!
All Smiles Sorrento is such a picture perfect wedding ceremony location and reception venue. Shaun LOVES his golf – so we had some fun with some golf photos!
A lovely relaxed and happy day. Congratulations Natalie and Shaun!
Kellie and Grant had a beautiful outdoor wedding ceremony at the rotunda at Ashcombe Maze on the Mornington Peninsula. The weather had been very unpredictable and with the possibility of showers Kellie embraced the possibility of rain and bought some gumboots for herself and the bridesmaids!! I LOVE a positive attitude!! We took beach photos at Flinders and then joined their guests at Rosebud Country Club for their wedding reception.
You can see more of their photos on our wedding gallery page.
Brea & Pete had their ceremony and reception at The McCrae Pavilion. The beach opposite McCrae Pavilion on the Mornington Peninsula is supurb and has the whitest sand, breathtaking blue water and beach boxes and a lighthouse to complete the package! Brea voted for me in the ABIA awards with the following kind words…
‘Bright Eyes Photography what can I say, we had ideas of what we wanted and Bright Eyes Photography listened and delivered, MORE than I could ever have imagined!
They excelled in every way from making the day stress free, for being adaptable to weather & change of plans, for going above and beyond with nothing to much trouble.
The emotion on our day will be forever captured and remembered due to Bright Eyes Photography, they are by far my ‘Top Supplier’ in a very tough field.
I wish Jayne McLean all the recommendations and success in the future!!’
Thanks Brea and Pete !! xx
A beautiful wedding at The Briars Barn on the Mornington Peninsula. Julie and Rohan had their ceremony in the barn and had decorated it with white lanterns, white fabric, and fairy lights. Whilst it had the rustic wedding theme it also looked elegant and stunning at the same time! It looked amazing! The barn at The Briars is only limited to your imagination when it comes to decorating it! It is a fantastic venue!
I’ve put a sneak peak of their wedding photos on my facebook page and I will be putting more on my blog and creating their gallery soon.
I can’t wait to photograph another wedding at The Briars Barn!
A fantastic winter wedding at Mornington Golf Club! Jane & Chris had alot of fun and their wedding photos reflect exactly that! Jane was such a happy bride and it was an absolute honour to capture it for them! A great Mornington Peninsula Wedding!
Grace & Vincent booked a pre wedding photo shoot with me before their wedding in China. We met at the lighthouse at Cape Schank, Mornington Peninsula – I was luckily enough to watch some humpback whales swimming just off the coast while I was waiting!
Grace & Vincent had lunch at Morning Star Estate and then we took photos in their gardens. Our last location was Mornington Beach.
Jane and Chris had a beautiful winter Mornington Peninsula Wedding! They had a lot of fun and we captured some great photos. Chris loves his golf, so we had alot of fun taking photos at Mornington Golf Club! I LOVE this photo – I think it is hilarious!
I received a beautiful thank you card in the mail from Kristen and Josh who had a beautiful Mornington Peninsula Wedding
Thank you for helping us celebrate our wedding and for photographing the day for us. Your help and advice in all areas of our wedding was very useful and very much appreciated. We will be recommending you to all of our friends.
