A super fun wedding day full of so much emotion and love!
I altered my standard coverage for these two brides to ensure I was photographing the main parts of their day. I arrived at their hired house where they were both getting ready (separately) and started my coverage once they were both dressed and ready to see each other.
An emotional “first look” with lots of hugs and heart-felt moments was captured in the front garden of where they were staying in Rye. Due to some delays in one of them being ready we then quickly headed off to All Smiles to meet their celebrant Kat Sillars.

The wind was so crazy that whilst everyone tried to enjoy the outdoor ceremony that they’d planned, 3/4 of the way through Kat and the brides agreed it would be wise to continue indoors. With both of them with their hair down at least they could now see each other and enjoy the moment without the wind being a distracting factor!

After signing the register we went for a walk down the beach at sunset and they laughed the entire time – even when they decided to go in the ice-cold water!

After we returned from the beach they were both freezing – but had no regrets about making the most of their day. You can never control the weather, but you can decide how you handle it. I loved their dedication and after a nice warm bath – yes, they had a bath while their guests were enjoying their reception lol – they got changed into their reception party dresses and celebrated!!

Such a special day and I’m grateful for the trust they gave me to make sure we all made the most of every second.
