Moonah Links Wedding

Dee and Simon chose the Mornington Peninsula wedding venue Moonah Links for their wedding day.  Peppers Moonah Links has many room options and they chose a cocktail reception for their 60 guests.

Luckily they’d decided due to their winter wedding to take bridal party photos before their ceremony.  This gives not only more flexibility with timing, but also flexibility depending on the weather.  The weather was cold, but perfect for their photos.  Just before their ceremony was due to start the rain clouds made it obvious they needed to change their plans to indoors.

Dee had prepared beautifully for her winter wedding day with a lovely winter cape that she could put over her wedding dress!

Luckily we did a “first look” because the rain didn’t stop from the time their ceremony started!

Celebrant Abbie Frew made sure the ceremony was moved inside and with the large windows in the room the view was still beautiful.  Their ceremony was lovely and after some family photos they proceeded to their reception which was in a nearby building.

We were so lucky we took their photos earlier in the day as the rain did not top all afternoon/evening!

Of course a golf-themed wedding ring photo was needed…
