Lauren and Geoffrey had their wedding at Mornington Golf Club, which is a great Mornington Peninsula wedding venue for wedding photos on the golf course.
The ceremony was outdoors and whilst the weather in May was a little unpredictable and cold, the rain stayed away just long enough for them to become husband and wife in the gardens.
Whilst I have wedding prices and packages that suit most of my couples I also create custom packages when needed. Lauren and Geoffrey were only wanting the ceremony and bridal party photos captured for their winter wedding so their custom wedding package included coverage from 3.30-7pm with digital images provided on USB so they could create their own album. Their wedding was in May which is a quieter month for weddings and I can offer more flexibility with my wedding photography packages.
Sunset was quite early due to their winter wedding, but we made sure we made the most of the light before returning to celebrate with their family and friends at their reception. This also meant that we tried to minimise the congratulations after their ceremony so we could quickly get on the golf carts to take some photos before it got too dark.
We managed to get some photos without the umbrellas, but they definitely got used a lot as the rain settled in. Lauren and Geoff were great and were happy to trust me and make the most of their day regardless of what the weather did.
