The Ranelagh Club Mornington Peninsula Wedding
Covid restrictions changed the original plans for this lovely couple too! They postponed their reception for one year, but still chose to get married with a small intimate ceremony on their original wedding date.
The restrictions meant that masks needed to be worn indoors by myself and Simone, their hair and make up artist from Pink Gloss.
A few getting ready photos before their ceremony on the balcony at The Ranelagh Club in Mt Eliza on the Mornington Peninsula.
The view from this lesser known Mornington Peninsula wedding venue’s balcony is beautiful overlooking the beach. It was the first ceremony I’d photographed on the balcony as the other weddings I have done here have chosen to be married on the beach below.
After their wedding ceremony we took family photos and then the bridal party and I went to the beach.
The Ranelagh Club is right on the beach so it is a great wedding venue for a beach wedding. Getting married on the balcony might suit guests with elderly guests as whilst the walk to the beach is close, it is quite steep for those less mobile.
After the bridal party beach photos they joined their family for an outdoor lunch to celebrate their marriage…with a slightly smaller wedding cake than they’d originally planned (thanks again COVID restrictions!! lol).
Whilst it wasn’t the wedding day that they both had originally planned the main thing is that they got married and had an absolutely awesome day! They are planning to have a big celebration (restrictions permitting) for their 1 year anniversary.
